Bluenote Sports Bar & Grille

This hockey-themed bar in Maryland Heights is one of the best places in town to enjoy all things Blues. The moment you walk in, you are greeted by life-sized wall decals of Blues players, and the theme carries throughout the bar. If you want to feel like you're drinking in the middle of an all-Blues heaven, this is the spot.

Bobby's Place

Named after former St. Louis Blues defenseman Bobby Plager, Bobby's Place is known as the hockey bar for true fans. This downtown spot has a sister location in Valley Park (also at 108 Meramec Valley Plaza; 636-255-2627) and both bars will treat you right, feed you well and get you in the Blues spirit.

If you like hockey and beer, you'll find no better spot than Center Ice Brewery. This spot in Midtown has rotating taps of craft beer and plenty of televisions for your Blues-viewing pleasure. And they even have an actual penalty box from the old Arena on site, so you'd better behave yourself, you hockey hooligans.

Not only is SOHA stylish, with great food, this fashionable sports bar is high-class in more than one way. In addition to the tasty eats, SOHA also has its own horn that it blows after the Blues score. Honk! Honk! Honk!

The Note

This new Downtown West bar is a Blues-themed, and NHL fans will especially enjoy the food menu. Appetizer names include "Red Wings Suck" (chicken wings) and "Loaded Pucks" (loaded tater tots). Every slider has a different number, each for a different retired Blues number, and each pizza has a number of a Blues enforcer.

The Post Sports Bar & Grill has put some serious thought into the game-watching experience. As the bar explain on its website, "100 percent of our seating is padded to ensure that your rear end doesn't fall asleep on you mid game. Known primarily as a soccer bar, the Amsterdam knows how to celebrate all sports. And if there is a big hockey game to be had, the Amsterdam is on it. The huge back patio gets crammed with eager hockey fans ready to bleed blue. It's a crowded, hyped environment -- and the excitement there is certain to get anyone into the game.

For a sports bar with a nice blast of fresh air, visit DB Cooper's Safe House on Gravois. One whole side of the bar has garage doors that open to the sidewalk and their huge back patio has plenty of space to stretch out between periods. And with televisions all around the bar, you're sure not to miss a minute of the game even if it's crowded.
